A Seven-Module Online Course for Life-changing Inner Child Work
To heal from heartache, we allow the pure water of grief to dissolve our pain and the trauma of loss. Just as water finds the tiniest crevices, grief has the power to penetrate the invisible interior spaces of our deepest losses, to fill the tiniest capillaries of anguish, and eventually wash us clear.
A personal invitation from Jack Adam Weber, M.A., L.Ac. CYT, CMT
Hello friend,
These days, many of us feel especially alone, isolated, confused, and quite honestly, despairing. We might even feel ashamed, like it’s somehow our fault, which can lead to self-doubt and more loneliness. Yet, we are never truly alone and it’s not our fault. These times are an opportunity to heal together.
In a safe, heartfelt space we will explore a rich tapestry of somatic and cognitive tools—a comprehensive body-mind map—to help catalyze profound transformational healing of old, unresolved pain. I will help you re-inhabit and reclaim your body’s innate genius as an ally—not only as a source of wisdom, rejuvenation, and belonging, but as a best friend and constant companion through difficult times.
To do this deep work, we need guides who are not just trauma-informed, but trauma-initiated. Personal insight and a transformed heart from the trenches make all the difference. I’ve personally gone to these depths numerous times to resurrect my life in the presence of seasoned, trauma-initiated therapists. I have diligently and carefully worked through my core wounding and developmental trauma, as you might have heard me share in recent presentations. I have also shared these hard-won secrets to help patients in my clinical practice, struggling loved ones, workshop and course attendees, as well as through my writing.
My work is informed first by my personal, first-hand experience and secondarily by the work of other thought leaders and experts, cutting edge neuroscience, a long lineage of inner alchemists, the great poets, and perennial ancient wisdom traditions. The result is an integration of depth psychology and radical creativity into holistic medicine that has been endorsed by prominent doctors, psychotherapists, scientists, and other authors.
Please join me and a caring community of others to explore what it means to be authentically and fully human, as well as the healing work needed to build robust, resilient integrity—islands of sanity in a world gone mad on too much outer progress, technology, and distraction. Together we will walk the hero’s path and explore how to compassionately and patiently minister to our still-tender hearts via an inner alchemy, a long-lost inner art to relight the lamp of healing through the dark night of the soul. You will learn how to revitalize your life to become the solution from the inside out—a wounded healer initiated into embodied spirituality as a beacon to the world.
With warmth and solidarity,
Jack Adam Weber
When we feel comfortable in our skin, connected to our own creativity and calling, and that our life truly matters, we can be our closest and dearest companion and guide—our own best friend. But too often, the pain and confusion of unresolved heartache blocks our intuition, inner compass, ability to connect, and to give and receive love. This is when we need the help of trusted healers who have walked the path of resurrecting their own light from the shadows of pain and trauma.
Clearing the clouds, effortlessly the sun gives its light . . . I once penned in a poem. This was in response to revelations after clearing the pain from my own heart. My childhood wounds had lived in me for years, sabotaging my life, my ability to feel joy just for being alive and to live a life of meaning and purpose. When I finally tended to my pain with deep sensitivity and self-compassion, my life radically changed. The shift was so profound that to this day I still view my life as “before and after” that hero’s journey.
Our inner child is not separate from us. S/he merely got left behind deep inside us when we had to separate from our joy, openness, and vulnerability in order to survive. The past has not truly passed until we resolve and integrate it. This inner work not only transforms our own present lives, but lasts a lifetime and beyond to future generations.
There is no one-size fits all prescription for deep inner work. It is a radically creative process that must be listened into and held in a uniquely personal way: day-to-day, moment-to-moment, safely and sacredly.
This said, there are many foundational tools and perspectives that are invaluable for the journey. While no one can teach you how to paint the Mona Lisa, compose a 5th Symphony, or design the perfect yoga flow, you can learn the basic techniques for how to paint, compose, or inhabit your body to create your own masterpiece. My offer is to help you become the master of your own opus. I will offer detailed guidance to help you awaken and attune to your inner genius through a rich, body-centered palette of holistic wisdom found nowhere else . . . so you can champion your own healing process and free your life.
Find not only what you love but what loves you and fills you with a great sense of importance to disappear in your place among all things, instantly touching the heart of creation . . . as I do tonight, writing, being-written, on the ever-emptying page of life, trembling and grateful.
—excerpt from my poem “Careers”
In one of his letters, the great depth psychologist Carl Jung wrote:
“Anyone whose calling it is to guide souls, should have his own soul guided first, so that he knows what it means to deal with the human soul. It would not help you very much to study books only, though it is indispensable too. But it would help you most, to have a personal insight into the secrets of the human soul.”
— C.G. Jung
I’ve found that many therapists and mental health professionals haven’t done the deep inner work to integrate their core wounds. They remain uninitiated to this transformation and may only be able to speak of it intellectually. Therefore, they likely won’t embody this form of integrity, which means you likely won’t be able to truly feel their embodied support when you dip into your own depths. Sharing the information I present with a trauma-informed therapist—who may not be trauma-initiated— could help support the deep inner work you want to do.
Ideally, you could implement what I share into your work with a therapist who has had their “own soul guided first.” You can also use what you learn to help guide your own healing to: meet and heal with your inner child, find more meaning and purpose, address anxiety and pain, reveal your unique gifts and talents, be more comfortable in your own skin, boost your creativity, as well as to grow your resilience, compassion, and empathy. At most, you will have a roadmap to radically transform and free your life by helping to clear your past, reclaim your body, free your passion, and galvanize your calling.
The Course Modules
Each module consists of approximately 60 – 75 minutes of presentation by Jack, followed by time for Q&A and discussion.
The Course has been carefully designed and arranged so that each module builds upon the next, building a widening and deepening spiral through Module 3, which is then embellished and fleshed-out through the last two modules. The two integration sessions (4 & 7) provide ample time for you to ask questions, gain clarity, and integrate what works for you.
Module 1: Creating Safe Space: Body-mind Practices and Interpersonal Neurobiology for
Establishing Fertile Terrain
This module will begin with an overview of the entire course before exploring the intimate connection between body and mind as a foundation for safe space and inner work.
Body-mind integration helps us to live a more fulfilling, enjoyable, and connected life. It is also foundational for emotional healing. If we can agree that trauma involves a dysregulation of body and mind, learning how to regulate and integrate body (somatic experience, emotion) and mind (awareness, thinking), can help not only to alleviate some effects of trauma but also provide a foundation for deeper and ongoing healing and integration-building.
In this session, we will explore specific dynamics of body-mind practices that you can incorporate into your yoga or meditation practice to prime your body-mind for deeper work. We will also take a dip into the Nourish Practice, a deeply restorative, integrative body-mind practice I developed as a way to regulate and replenish the nervous system when under stress. This is a deeply relaxing “reset” which engages body and mind in a subtle yet powerful way for intimate body awareness and soul work.
In this session, we explore:
- What creating a safe healing “field” or “terrain” both internally and inter-relationally looks like
- What “nervous system regulation” means and how to experience it
- How mind, body, and heart intimately interact and how to make them allies, and not enemies, for healing
- What embodiment, interoception, “body-truth,” and the Polyvagal work of Stephen Porges are in the context of healing through core wounds
- Unique approaches to Qi Gong, meditation, Yoga, and mindfulness practices as primers for inner work
Module 2: Holistic Medicine for Self-Care & An Alchemical Mythos for Transformation
This week we explore holistic medical wisdom as an alchemical roadmap and overarching guide for self-care and transformation into rebirth and renewal.
Emotional transformation is embodied by the ancient, nature-based metaphors of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements. They accompanied me through my own dark night of the soul and were a guiding light for coming out the other end. I have mapped this archetypal hero’s journey by way of these wisdom symbols in a way you’ve probably never experienced before—for a truly robust and comprehensive body-centered healing experience and spirituality.
I will also share techniques, remedies, and practices from Chinese medicine and Ayurveda, as well as other eclectic healing tips, that support depth work so you can recharge and restore while engaging this often challenging process.
You will learn about tonic and cleansing herbs and formulas, supplements, and medicinal foods, as well as select Qi Gong, yoga, acupressure and trigger points—all corresponding with the body’s major organ systems that can help you find more balance and stress relief to endure and resource through deep inner work.
In this session, we explore:
- Why an overarching, holistic map via Yin-Yang and The Five Elements helps us feel safe and is helpful for coming through “the other side” of the dark night
- The heart as “monarch” of all the organs and what this means for emotional wholeness, renewal, and thriving
- The hidden benefits of difficult emotions and why befriending them is crucial for everything we love
- The wisdom of paradox and how to use the Yang-light of consciousness to illuminate the Yin-dark of the body
- Herbal and nutritional remedies to nourish and balance, relax and open body, mind, and heart
Module 3: Grief Work for Healing Core Love Wounds, Manifesting Our Finer Jewels
& Polishing the Soul
Now that safe space has been created and we have an archetypal map of regeneration as a guiding star, we journey into the heart of the course, which all the other modules support and inform.
This is the core trauma work module for body-centered emotional transformation that forever changed my life. All the other modules cooperate to inform and support this deep death and rebirth work process via a unique approach to inner child work. This will be a heartfelt and information-packed session, so please allow for the possibility of going a little overtime.
I will share some of my personal story and the step-by-step process I engaged through what I call “fertile darkness” and “dying to my pain,” including the unique toolkit I used to leverage myself from suffering and confusion unto freedom, inner richness, and a calling-saturated life.
I’ll introduce a unique, holistic palette of transformational tools I developed called “the dynamic package” for the actual process I underwent to heal the past and liberate what I fondly call our “finer jewels of being human”—embodied psycho-spiritual qualities such as creativity, honesty, faith, empathy, passion, and compassion. This is the core inner work of a lifetime, without which we remain less than our full selves.
In this session, we explore:
- A step-by-step somatic-centered model for healing the wounds of the past (and present) via grief-work
- How to embody, express, and “field” anger for greater connection and intimacy
- The intimate Yin-Yang relationship between grief and love and why this matters so much
- The meaning of the dark night of the soul as a hero’s journey to liberate our best selves
- Creating a relationship with and learning how to love our inner child via “reparenting”
Module 4: Mid-Term Integration Session
This session will have a more casual and conversational tone and be dedicated to answering questions, hearing from each other about how we’re doing, what’s coming up, and engaging in discussion.
The intent is to review and integrate material from the previous three sessions.
I’ll contribute a brief introduction and recap, with the rest of the time dedicated to helping clarify and understand any of your concerns or dynamics. If feasible, we’ll do break-out groups so you have the opportunity to share and connect with each other.
Module 5: Intimate Relationship as Crucible and Teacher
In this module we explore intimate, romantic relationship dynamics, including triggers and conflict, for their gift to further catalyze and help us to create more joy and love in the present and heal through our core love wounds we encountered in the previous module.
Most of us can relate to the exquisite pleasure and pain of an intimate relationship. We want the good, juicy parts, and more than once have probably wished the “bad” parts would just go away! As distressing as conflict is, when we can pause and take the brave step to look within, we can turn lemons into the most refreshing lemonade. instead of trying to make these unruly guests magically disappear, we can learn to work with them so they become the path itself to more love and connection.
Relationships are a golden opportunity for inner work. Carl Jung, in fact, said we can’t achieve wholeness without them. I concur! Suffering the “slings and arrows” (from Shakespeare’s Hamlet) of relating without leveraging these challenges for deeper healing is a waste of time and energy, and a lost opportunity for growth. Instead, we can use these challenges as grist for the mill to transform our lives from turmoil into fulfillment. This turns a double negative into a double gain: we heal and deepen in the present while simultaneously healing the past that blocks our ability to more fully give and receive love.
In this session, we explore:
- How to make more love with your partner and deepen together into more genuine growth and connection
- Attachment styles, trauma bonding, why we choose “terrible” partners and how to break free
- How to work with triggers and old wounds via what I call the “3 Levels of Relating”
- Sex in the context of truer love and sustainable intimacy
- How to use present-day challenges to get to the root of conflict, as well as befriend and heal the past
- Common relationship myths that sabotage connection and block harmonious relating
Module 6: Creativity as Catalyst and the Poetry of Transformation
This module explores creative expression as a crucial vehicle for contacting, learning about, expressing, and processing our wounding—while (just maybe!) producing something beautiful in the process.
Because emotional transformation work is a radically creative process, engaging a form of creative expression can empower us to discover, metabolize, and be transformed by challenging experiences. When we can stay connected to our bodies, we can access the unconscious and healing powers unavailable to us through linear, intellectual means. This way, the creative flow state can unite and embellish all the body-mind healing tools presented in Module 3.
I will guide and give tips for how to grow your creativity and how to create your own healing poems and art for insight, release, and new vision. Select poems from my own and others’ healing odyssey, rich with transformative images and wisdom, will serve as inspiration and learning. A curated selection of these poems titled Songs for Coming Home is included as a bonus audio recording when you sign up for this course!
In this session, we will explore:
- Creativity as lover and constant companion for refuge and regulation, hope and self-soothing
- How creative expression catalyzes and regulates the radically creative process of inner work
- Art as a treasure trove of images for transformation and blazing the hero’s path
- How to “create from the body” and why embodying our art makes all the difference in the deep work
- Beautiful, poignant poems as windows into self-transmutation and evolution
- What it means to live poetically and how to create your own “poetry as medicine”
Module 7: Bringing It All Together: Clarifying and Integrating the Parts for the Whole
This module brings together all previous sessions into a dynamic, organically flowing, multi-dimensional, radically creative, and embodied path for you to become your own alchemist for the change you want to be and see in the world—for becoming an integral, more courageous, joyful, caring, and dynamic change-maker! Ample time will be available for questions and discussion, and I’m again holding out the possibility for break-out groups to connect and share more deeply.
To end inter-generational trauma is to halt the locomotive of unconscious habit. It is to say “the buck stops here.” For this we compassionately turn within to heal the wounds from the past, even from before our parents were born. Our bodies hold the treasure map to our liberation. The clues lie within our heartache, leading us to the riches of our best selves transformed from the ache itself.

Songs for Coming Home: 20 Poems to Live and Grow By (audio)
Often, art conveys what the logical mind can’t grasp, or helps the mind to grok what is subtle and nuanced and best expressed through image and metaphor. As a celebrated and life-long poet, the inner landscape of images and symbols has been Jack’s best friend through many a sojourn into the trenches as well as blissful surrender to the divine. In this recording, Jack recites twenty hand-picked, transformational poems curated especially for this course. Themes include the dark night of the soul, finding purpose and calling, death and rebirth, grief work, ecstatic emergence, paradox, and embodied spirituality.
BONUS #2
The Nourish Practice (Series II, Part I): “Emotional Transformation” audio
The Nourish Practice is a comprehensive soul work program Jack assembled for comprehensive body-mind integration and transformational emotional healing. Series I is a deeply restorative, somato-poetic Qi Gong rejuvenation experience introduced in Module 1. Series II begins the deeper dive into tending the soul and healing the wounds of childhood. Emotional Transformation introduces the deep work discussed throughout the course, for which it is a perfect accompaniment.
BONUS #3
Rebearth: Poems for Personal and Planetary Regeneration e-Book
This is a beautifully produced e-Book of Jack’s most recent collection of poems, organized according to 5 Elements and an Earth-centered Spirituality.
